Graham Talbot is the CEO of Wetstone. He cofounded Wetstone after spending 40 years as a senior leader in the oil and gas, power, and shipping industries, with CFO positions at Maersk, Shell, and BG Group.
Sahil Abbi is the Chief Commercial Officer at Wetstone. Prior to cofounding Wetstone, Sahil developed commodities businesses at Jane Street, a quantitative trading firm.
Michael Lodge is the Head of Regulatory at Wetstone. Michael has dedicated his career to International maritime legal issues. Most recently, Michael served for eight years as the Secretary-General of the International Seabed Authority (Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations).
Taggart Bonham joined Wetstone to lead development after being introduced to the company as a venture investor. Prior to joining Wetstone, Taggart was a Partner at Lightspeed, a US Venture Capital firm, where he invested in frontier tech.
Josh Broussard is the Head of Exploration at Wetstone. Josh is a technologist with a 20+ year track record delivering innovations in offshore exploration. As CTO of Ocean Infinity, Josh helped grow the company from fewer than 10 employees to over 600. Josh is an expert in unmanned systems, AI-based data processing, and remote communications for high-complexity, offshore environments.
Greg Kurras brings over 30 years of offshore exploration and seabed mapping experience to his role as Wetstone's Head of Exploration Services. As the founder of Seafloor Investigations, he spent his career pioneering technical approaches to ocean data acquisition and processing, producing resource assessments and environmental datasets for a broad range of academic, commercial, and government partners.
Jesse Baldwin leads Exploration Delivery at Wetstone. With over 25 years of experience at the forefront of offshore wind development and marine infrastructure, Jesse has contributed to some of the industry’s most significant milestones in the U.S. Most recently, Jesse was US Site Investigation Portfolio and Strategy Manager at Ørsted.
Dag Helland Hansen is a Senior Exploration Geologist at Wetstone. Dag has been working in natural resources exploration for the past 30 years, with a focus on Norwegian oil and gas both onshore and offshore. Dag has been working on electromagnetic exploration methods for seafloor massive sulfides for over a decade.
Dr. Daniel Babin is an Exploration Geologist at Wetstone. Daniel received his PhD in geochemistry from Columbia University in 2023. His dissertation focused on modeling the presence of polymetallic nodules in the abyssal plains. Prior to Wetstone, Dan was the Head of Science at Sinkco Labs, a marine sediment carbon storage company.
Dr. Caroline Gini is an Exploration Geologist at Wetstone. Caroline completed her PhD in Marine Geology at Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador, where she focused on marine acoustics, using synthetic aperature sonar to study seafloor massive sulfide geochemistry. Previously, Caroline was a Sonar Data Scientist at Kraken Robotics.
Daniel Worrall is Wetstone's Head of Corporate Relations. Dan has spent 25 years focused on corporate affairs, market entry, and country leadership for natural resources companies. Before joining Wetstone, Dan was a senior leader at ExxonMobil, Shell, Rio Tinto, and Fortescue, spending a significant portion of that time on the ground leading country level projects.
Nick Murlo is the Head of Project Delivery at Wetstone. Nick has worked for 20 years in the minerals and energy industries as both an engineer and a business leader. Nick was most recently a Director of Business Improvement at Newmont, after completing a degree from Harvard Business School and spending several years at Mckinsey. Nick began his career managing engineering projects in the Permian for XTO and offshore for ExxonMobil.
Lynda Nwike began her career as an Offshore Engineer at Shell and Schlumberger. Most recently, Lynda led Cobalt and Manganese supply for Tesla after spending several years working on critical minerals at Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Rio Tinto.
Alan Labes is Wetstone's Head of Extraction. Before joining Wetstone to lead extraction engineering efforts, Alan Labes spent 25 years designing sub sea systems at Technip FMC, eventually leading technical R+D across the company after Technip merged with FMC, where Alan began his career.
Dr. Jennifer Dupont is Wetstone's Head of Sustainability. Jennifer is a senior leader in environmental affairs with over 16 years of experience. After completing her Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of South Florida, Jen worked at ExxonMobil’s research organization, leading environmental impact assessment work. Most recently, Jennifer was the Director of Permitting and Environmental Affairs at Equinor.
Ellen Crivella is Wetstone's Head of U.S. Development. Ellen is a senior leader in permitting and environmental strategy with over 20 years of experience in renewable project development. Most recently, Ellen was the Head of Permitting and Marine Environemental Affairs at Ørsted. Previoisly, Ellen built DNV’s North American environmental and permitting practice from the ground up and ultimately became the firm’s Senior Vice President for Project Development & Engineering.
Dr. Simon Freeman leads Environmental Sensing at Wetstone. Simon has dedicated his scientific career to scaling technical solutions for global environmental and maritime challenges. Previously, Simon was the Chief Scientist for Emerging Innovations at MITRE, a Program Director at ARPA-E, and an oceanographer at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. He is an expert in oceanography, underwater acoustics, and environmental sensing. Simon holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
